Jockfall fiskekort
Permits for Jockfall — the famous salmon pool beneath the Jockfall waterfall on the Kalix river — are sold through iFiske. All permits are digital, delivered by email, in the iFiske app and optionally by SMS. Two permits are offered (daily SEK 400 and weekly SEK 2 000). Children under 16 fish free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

Welcome to Jockfall, the famous salmon pool beneath the Jockfall waterfall on the Kalix river. A valid fishing permit must always be carried and presented on request, together with photo ID.

Open season
- Fishing is allowed year-round, with the species-specific closures below.
- Salmon: closed 1 September – 31 December.
- Sea trout: closed 1 September – 14 October.
- Grayling: closed 15 April – 31 May.
- Night closure: from 1 August onwards, all fishing is forbidden between 24:00 and 06:00.
Methods
- Fly fishing and spinning are both allowed.
- Snagging (ryckfiske) is forbidden.
- Otter-board fishing and nets are forbidden.
- Max 3 flies per cast.
- Lead weights and other sinkers are forbidden.
Gear restrictions
- Maximum hook gap: 12 mm between hook point and shaft.
- Maximum spoon weight: 45 g.
- Maximum bombarda weight: 45 g.
Bag limits and sizes
- Max 1 sea trout AND 1 salmon per angler and day.
- Salmon: minimum 50 cm.
- Sea trout: slot 30–45 cm (only fish within this slot may be retained).
- Grayling: minimum 35 cm.
