Permits for Ätrans Nedre FVOF — the lower Ätran from Vessigebro bridge down to the old E6 bridge — are sold through iFiske. All permits are digital, delivered by email, in the iFiske app and optionally by SMS. The fishery has two beats with separate permits; reduced-price youth (15–18) day and season permits are also available on iFiske.

Rules & Regulations

Welcome to Ätrans Nedre FVOF — the lower Ätran from Vessigebro bridge down to the old E6 bridge, split into two beats with separate permits.
Children up to 14 fish free of charge — a free permit must still be obtained.

Open season and times

  • Fishing is allowed year-round, except for salmon and sea trout — open 1 April – 30 September only.
  • Permitted fishing hours: 05:00 – 23:00.
  • The Vessigebro beat is only fishable 1 April – 30 September.

Methods

  • Spinning, bait fishing and fly fishing.
  • One rod, one angler (ett spö – en man).

Minimum sizes

  • Salmon and sea trout: minimum 45 cm.
  • Undersized fish must be released immediately.
  • Eel must not be retained — release all eel.

Bag limits

  • 1 April – 30 June: max 1 salmon per day.
  • 1 July – 30 September: max 2 salmon or sea trout per day.
  • Season quota: max 5 salmon per angler.
  • In August and September all fish over 75 cm must be released.

Catch reporting

All catches must be reported, including released fish.
