Ullatti FVOF – Ängesån, Puorojärvi & Karrajärvi
Permits for Ullatti FVOF (org. no. 894003-9962) — covering the upper Ängesån, Puorojärvi and Karrajärvi — are sold through iFiske. All permits are digital, delivered by email, in the iFiske app and optionally by SMS. Children up to 12 fish free of charge between 1 June and 31 August (parental consent to the rules required).
Rules & Regulations
Welcome to Ullatti FVOF, covering Ängesån, Puorojärvi and Karrajärvi. A valid fishing permit and photo ID must always be presented on request.
Children up to 12 fish free of charge between 1 June and 31 August, provided the parent/guardian has read and accepted the regulations.
Allowed methods
- Hand-held tackle (handredskap) only.
- Snagging (ryckfiske) is strictly forbidden.
- Nets and fish traps (mjärde) are not allowed.
- Towing or trolling with more than three hooks is not allowed.
- Otter-board fishing is forbidden.
Lakes
Fish carefully, with sustainability in mind, and show consideration for landowners.
Running water
- Boat fishing is not allowed.
- Natural bait is forbidden.
- All winter fishing — including ice fishing and jigging (pimpel) — is forbidden.
Protected and catch-and-release waters
Myllyjoki and Mailiojoki are nursery areas for young trout and salmon and are closed to all fishing.
Pierujoki — all trout caught must be released without exception.
Salmon
- Minimum size: 50 cm.
- Open season: 1 June – 31 August.
- Bag limit: 1 salmon per angler and day.
- Annual quota: 3 salmon per permit.
Brown trout
- 1 trout (30–45 cm) per angler and day.
- Open season: 1 June – 31 August.
- Closed season: 1 September – 14 October.
Grayling
- Bag limit: max 5 grayling per day. Minimum size: 35 cm.
- Closed during winter and from 15 April to 31 May.
